These two pictures and the video animation shows a recent road accident in Finland. 23 passengers died and all others were severely injured. The bus driver braked hard a few seconds before the collision, but there were no avoiding steering actions to be noticed.

Due to darkness it is possible that the driver did not see clearly the trailer on the wrong side of the road.
